Activism is not just born, but is something that is nurtured and inspired. Robert “Biko” Baker, the executive director of the Young Voters Education Fund (LYVEF) is all too familiar with the challenges and rewards of fostering activism and political participation amongst youth. Through his work, he has pushed the importance of voting and worked to inspire urban youth to get active and involved in the changes that they want to see.
